About Us
Mamas Lil Dragons programme is an age specific martial arts programme catering to children ages 2-7 year old. Mamas Lil Dragons is more than just martial arts, it is an incorporation of life and safety skills, making it one of the most elite childrens martial arts programmes in the world.
This programme trains children to be good upstanding citizens and gives them an excellent foundation for a lifetime. It includes units in safety and lifeskills, which develops them socially, emotionally, physically, and stretched them intellectually.
Mamas Lil Dragons staff are friendly, warm welcoming and hard working.
We are all fully trained and DBS checked along with some extra training from Mama Dragon herself.

Hello my name is Susan Fortune and I have been working with children for 25+ years, having also brought up 4 of my own; three boys and one girl and now having three beautiful grandchildren. I always have a smile on my face, even while teaching, to put everyone at ease and think we should all do it more.
I am very patient with slow learners, as I know from experience how hard it can be. We do not all learn at the same pace, so if a student is struggling, I will show them different ways until they get it! As a child and teenager, I got bullied all the time. Into my adulthood I developed a self-loathing, low self-esteem and zero confidence in myself.
However, at the age of 41 I got my 1st Degree Black Belt in a Martial Art in December 2015, I got my 2nd Degree in December 2017, my 3rd Degree in December 2020, and now I am Deputy Master – 4th Degree Black Belt as of May 2024 and feel PROUD of my achievements! So, I got to thinking… I do not want any child to feel as I did, and this is where Mamas Lil Dragons came from.
